Damian is a fully qualified PGA Professional and having spent 2 years at the David Leadbetter Academy at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore Damian also gained certification in the Leadbetter method of coaching. During his certification Damian worked closely with David Leadbetter assisting him with his players at the time which included Justin Rose, Ian Poulter and Ernie Els. In 2005 Damian returned to the UK upon being invited by Nick Dougherty to become his full-time coach and across the years this partnership was active, their work together saw Nick's World Golf Ranking soar to a best of 47th and produced victories in the 2007 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and the 2009 BMW International Open whilst, most importantly, engineering the consistent improvement and success required to establish Nick as one of the hottest properties in the game at that time.

Damian, more recently, has been working with, amongst others, Bernd Wiesberger and was instrumental in seeing the big Austrian achieve his best season to date in 2015, with his win in the French Open and a further 6 top-10 finishes, including 2nd place finishes in the Malaysian Open and Irish Open where he narrowly missed out in a playoff. The win in France saw him achieve a career high position of 23rd in the World Golf Rankings. 2016 and early 2017 would see more improvement in Bernd's play and he went on to finish 9th in the 2016 Race to Dubai.  A hugely impressive run consisting of 7 top-5 finishes and a further 7th place finish in 14 consecutive starts leading up to his latest win in the 2017 Shenzhen International Open would see Bernd establish himself further amongst the worlds best golfers.
